Hard To Find Custom Jeans

by Brian Johanssen

Finding custom jeans can be very difficult and expensive. Designers like Diesel and Seven offer hand made jeans that make each pair somewhat unique. To get the best custom look from these designers, the faded and worn jeans offer more hand made customization that can almost double the price. Getting just a couple of pairs can run you around $400. For most of us that could be rent or a nice car payment. There are ways that you can get around spending so much and get jeans so custom that nobody will have the same ones.

There are two ways to get the best custom jeans. You can customize jeans that you already have to update your look or you can shop for new jeans at a discounted price. The key finding new jeans is to look for jeans that you like, but they do not have the fading or tears that are trendy right now. Designer jeans like this are always the cheapest of their denim line. To find great sales you can ask sales people in finer clothing establishments about upcoming sales because they are used to trying to get a personal relationship with their customers. If they do not know about any upcoming sales, ask if they have a customer list that will call you when there is a sale. Most good sales people will do this.

When you have selected a pair of jeans that you want to customize, old or new, you will need to get one tool. The best tool for customizing is called a Dremel. It is a small high speed drill that comes with various attachments for all kinds of jobs. You can also use a drill if you already have one, but the shape of conventional drill is not optimal for this job. For a drill, you will need to buy a horizontal sanding bit.

With your Dremel or drill you are going to use the attachment that has a thimble shaped end wrapped with sandpaper. Set the speed to about 2000 rpms and start wearing down the edge of the leg opening. This is a good place to start because all faded jeans are worn here. Get a feel for how is wears through the fabric. Then you can move to the front and rear pockets. After that, use your imagination to wear them wherever you like. Good places to include some wear are the knees and thigh. Remember that you want them to look different. Come up with a new idea that no one has seen before. You can duplicate a pair you have seen if you like as well. The Dremel tool is a good investment for this job because you can use it on future pairs of jeans as well as hats, belts and canvas sneakers.

Modest Wedding Dresses for Every Kind of Girl

by Marci Crane

Modest Wedding Dresses for Every Kind of Girl
I think it would be safe to say that today most brides prefer sleeveless wedding dresses. However, you might be surprised to know that many brides prefer modest wedding dresses and you might be even more surprised that they look lovely in them. Whether young and mature brides alike are choosing a modest wedding dress because they are getting married in a religious venue that requires modest dress, or because they simply prefer a modest wedding dress, they have access to a wide array of lovely fashions that fit the style of almost every type of bride. From haughty couture to ballroom and from the beach to the baseball diamond, they (and you) can find the right modest wedding dress for the day of all days.

Beach Girl Modest Wedding Dress
If you are the type of girl that dreams of a destination wedding with your intimate family and friends, then consider two of the modest wedding gowns that I think would belong on the sand!
The first dress I have in mind is one that is simple, yet gathered in “bustle bursts” in the skirt. The effect is stunning. It looks like billowed clouds but isn’t pretentious. It also portrays the white motion of the sea, which for the beach—what could be better. Want to see the image of the dress that inspires my words? I saw the image of this cloud dress on a bridal gown website.
Another modest wedding dress beach option is a simple two-piece dress with simple trim and a graceful loop of the skirt. It gives the impression of effortless soft char or beauty—for the calm, sweet, beach bride. I saw the image2 that inspired these ideas on the same bridal gown website.

Couture Girl
For the girl who hates to admit it but will truly only settle for the best and most couture of fashions, there are dresses that will warm the heart of even the most determined and haughty fashionistas. For the fasionista, elegant beadwork can be exceptional and a flawless cut is required. A fashionista should consider the daring new-age gown that will stand out with a modest--yet form fitting--richly beaded gown, that flares hill-like past the hips into an ending that is fit for a movie star. Check out the photo that inspires my admiration.3

Let’s face it. The true fashionista wants to show off her beauty and grace and true blue loveliness. She may also want to show off her tiny little waist and will be able to do exactly that with the dress I have in mind. With a splash of color that draws the eye and a skirt of tiered loveliness there will be plenty of eyes wandering after this lovely item.

Accessory Girl
For the girl who wants a modest wedding dress but knows that it is the accessories that really make a statement, I would recommend two items:

The sash brooch is the perfect way to attract attention to the waist and add a touch of richness to a modest dress.
A tiara with the right hair locks can brighten an entire wedding! This tiara, though small hints towards royalty and grace.

Country Girl
A “country girl” may choose almost any style of dress, but I like to think of her focusing on a dress that is well made yet unadorned. A pure, sweet look with a traditional veil and a fitted waist would make a lovely dress for the girl who loves the pure feelings of the outdoors.
How about a dress that will remind you of Julia Robert’s “bell” dress in the movie, “Runaway Bride.” This type of dress in conjunction with a classic veil says gorgeous country in my book of love.

You may be a hippie bride, a European chic bride, a cowgirl bride or an Asian style bride. No matter what type of bride you are, you can take advantage of the gorgeous array of modest wedding dresses that are readily available today.

Happy Wedding Planning!

Customize Your Jeans

by Brian Johansson

When you buy a pair of jeans there is inevitably something that doesn't work out about them. For me it is often the ankle and the heel. Jeans tend to fit me fairly well throughout but in those two areas I still have a hard time finding a pair that fit perfectly. This often means that I will be forced to customize these jeans to work for me. I have three major pairs of shoes that I wear with jeans my converse chucks, black dress loafers and flip flops. Often times if I go with jean that already has a boot cut fit they work for the loafers but I end up dragging my heel under the other shoes. Sometimes this can give you a nice distressed look to the heel of your jean, but on a rainy day it just means frozen feet and disgusting muddy heels on your jeans.

My simple answer is to go with a boot fit jean that doesn't drag under my heel to much. Then cut the cuffs of the jeans vertically along the inside and outside seam to open the boot cut up further. This cut will look odd at first but after a few washings it will look nice and distressed and ad some personality to your jeans. The other answer is to cut the heel of your jeans out. Be careful when you do this and always cut on the side of caution. Once you cut the fabric away it cannot be put back. This cut will also look strange at first but after washing the jeans it will start to develop a nice distressed look. I always think it is better to cut your jeans specifically to what you needs are. Take the time to decide how to alter your jeans to make the work better for you next time you are looking to buy a pair.

20 Tips to Dress for Success

by Mei Galang

Do you possess the look of a professional? Do you look incredibly smart? Are you confident enough to take charge and get the job that you applying for?

Consider the fact that your resume is quite impressive and the employer can't resist to have the audacity to ask you to come for an interview. But after the all the preparations, your final problem will surely comes up right after you realize and ask yourself ' what should I wear?' These things are actually important for the job hunters, people tend to have a systemic problem nowadays regarding what they should wear on a job interview. Honestly I'm wired toward automatically seeing the person in these kind of situations because I also had the same experienced when I was hunting for a right job. However many take these for granted, with the eloquence of having an 'impressive resume' they forgot that applicants will not only be examined based on the job experience and personality but also with how they present themselves professionally.

Here are the top 20 tips in dressing for an interview

1.Research if the company or your potential employer have a specific dress code.

2.If your planning to buy new clothes, get good advice from sales persons.

3.Have the clothes altered to fit and accent your features.

4.Select an outfit that you have worn before and are comfortable wearing.

5.Your hair should be clean and neat.

6.Do not wear a strong perfume or cologne, scent must be low key or absent.

7.Cover any tattoo and limit pierced jewelry to ears only.

8. For men – Wear a suit or sports jacket that is color coordinated with your trousers.

9. For men – You should have clothes in Neutral or dark colors such as blue, black or gray.

10. For men – Wear a conservative and low key tie. Avoid ties with flashy patterns.

11. For men – Keep your sneakers away. A clean, polished black leather shoes is highly recommended.

12. For men – Don't forget to trim and clean your nails.

13. For men – White socks are definitely NO! Use dark socks.

14. For men – Use dark suit and light colored shirt.

15. For women – Wear a classic suit or simple dress paired with a jacket.

16. For women – The appropriate colors are navy blue, black, dark green, dark red, burgundy or gray.

17. For women – Don't be too provocative or sexy.

18. For women – Trim your fingernails and use a polish that complements your clothes and would not distract the interviewer.

19. For women – Choose a moderate shoes which is clean and with heels that makes you comfortable.

20. For women – Use a tan or light hosiery.

Clothing will play a role in your career so you should continue to pay attention to your wardrobe. Add pieces made of high quality that will match to what you already have. Buy separates that can be mixed and matched. Dressing is not everything but it will definitely add up to your overall impression that you will make on.

These are some advices and the right tools that I can give to someone on their job hunting, but I have to leave it here. Because as we all end up with reality, applicants must not look good with their own respective dress but might as well have the confidence to make themselves qualified enough for the job. Job hunters should think first all the requirements before going to an interview, from the resume to his/her diploma. They must be ready to answer the question exquisitely. So if you want to have a job career in the future, you should consider these suggestion for you to succeed.
