by Chris Robertson Designer jeans come in many different styles, colors and brands. Every person's body is made differently, so finding jeans with that perfect fit is a unique experience for every shopper. Shopping online for wholesale designer jeans can be tricky as well. Teens especially are concerned with style, fit and brand name. Here are some great tips to help teens find those perfect jeans.
Finding a Good Fit
Every body is shaped differently, so the fit of the jeans is important. Jeans must fit well on the waist, hips, crotch, thighs, and around the legs and ankles. There are several different types of fit: straight leg, boot cut, hipsters, carpenter, cargo, loose fit, low rise, flared and relaxed. Most teens choose jeans for the look, but it's important that the fit is right too. Comfort and the ability to be flexible while wearing the jeans should also be a deciding factor when buying designer jeans.
The great thing about shopping online for wholesale designer jeans is teens get to choose from many different fits to find the perfect pair of jeans. Many sites that offer wholesale designer jeans have a vast selection of styles, fits and brand names at great prices. Brands such as Seven Jeans, Antik Denim, Polo, Bape, Red Monkey, True Religion Jeans, Juicy Couture, Rock & Republic and BBC can usually be found online at wholesale prices. They offer the designer jean selection every teen dreams about!
Choosing Jean Color and Style
Another focus for today's jean fashions is style and color. No longer do jeans only come in one shape and color. They are available in many unique designs to fit every personality and preference. The colors and fabrics are washed in certain ways at the factory to give them a distinctive look and feel. Here are some of the jean styles and colors available today:
*Crosshatch: Denim weave has a cross-stitch type pattern. *Vintage: An old, worn look. *Polished: Denim without blasts or tints, in its pure form. *Frayed: Has tattered edges along the leg bottoms, pockets, waistline, etc. *Whiskered: Blasts that make 'cat whiskers' appear around the front fly area. *Distressed: Have released hems and look beat up. *Ring-spun: Brings out a vertical pattern in the denim. *Tinted: Blasts of color such as rose or khaki.
Online Shopping Tips
Having such a great selection of jeans online makes it easier to find both the right fit and style. Check with an online mall that sells wholesale designer jeans and do a search according to the brand you're looking for. Then browse through the selection of jeans to find the right size and style. If the measurements aren't available, do an online search for the measurements of that particular brand and size. You might be able to find measurements for almost any type of jeans online. Knowing the measurements, you can buy with confidence that the jeans will fit.
Also, be sure the company you are buying from offers a return or exchange policy in case the fit isn't right when you receive the jeans.
Knowing which brand names suit you will also make it easier to shop online. Designer jeans by companies like Polo, Antik Denim, Red Monkey, Bape, BBC, Rock & Republic, Juicy Couture, Lacoste, Seven Jeans, True Religion Jeans and others will usually be consistent in the way they fit if you stay with one particular brand. Finding wholesale designer jeans online not only saves money and time, but also opens the door to a broad selection of stylish jeans.

by Sheila Dicks We all own jeans and they truly are the main ingredient of any casual wardrobe. However, they are not all equal or equally flattering. We are not all born with the same shape, so, the style we wear will impact the way we look. Have you ever seen an outfit on one of your friends that looked spectacular but when someone else wore that same outfit it lost its pizzazz? That has to do with the body shapes of the two people and sometimes the color of the garment. Both women could be the same height and weight but have a totally different shape. The same holds true for jeans. Here are a few hints when trying to find jeans that will fit and look great on YOU. Small flat behind: If you have a small flat behind and your jeans tend to make you look smaller, choose a design with detailed pockets that are high and slightly smaller than those found on most styles. Pockets will drawn attention to the eye and will create the illusion of width and lift. To add curves: Wear low-rise jeans in a cotton-Lycra blend. The clingy fabric hugs the body and a contoured waistband will help create curves. Choose a pair that has been lightened at the thighs and knees to make legs look more shapely. Avoid standard boot cut jeans that have little shape. To flatten a tummy:
Try a medium to high-rise (no higher than the belly button) in a dark color.
For the appearance of smaller thighs:
Stick to dark colors for sure and wear flared styles that will draw the eye downward and create balance. Don’t wear them too tight or too loose.
For the appearance if slim hips:
Do look for jeans without front pockets or jeans with slit pockets and stay away from front patch pockets. Buy dark colors with stitching that is the same color (or very close) as the fabric. Avoid light stitching and designs. To prevent a gap at the waist:
If your hips are much larger than your waist then you will probably have this problem. What to do? Wear stretch denim jeans and stay away from crisp or heavy fabrics such as cotton. To make your legs appear longer:
Wear a high-heeled shoe and flared jeans that will completely cover them.

by Bridget Allen Oh no! You’re having a jeans crisis and can’t decide on which perfect pair to buy! Don’t despair! Help is on the way.
No matter if you are plus size, petite, tall or average, it’s difficult to find the perfect pair of jeans, so we could also use a few tips.
It’s not always easy finding the right pair of jeans. There are just too many styles to choose from. By keeping some of these tips in mind you can find that perfect pair of jeans.
Some useful hints include:
· Before deciding on which pair of jeans to wear, it’s imperative to choose the type of shoes you’ll be sporting. This is because the heel normally will determine how the jean will fall or lay to the ground.
· Also remember that most jeans are not pre-shrunk when you purchase them. So make sure you allow for a bit of shrinkage.
· Low-rise jeans sit low on the waist and provide the perfect opportunity to show off those abs!
· Boot-cut jeans are loose through the leg and wide at the leg opening.
· Flare leg jeans are fun and funky which feature a wide, flared opening at the leg.
· Stonewashed jeans are light and have a more broken-in appearance.
· Distressed jeans have holes, shredding or crinkles to give it that highly worn appearance.
· Dark jeans are the ideal jeans for a night out.
· Not all jeans fit all body types. So keep in mind your body type and jean style when selecting jeans.
· Full-figured body types should choose traditional five-pocket style jeans that aren’t too snug. A bootcut jean will help to balance your figure and make your legs appear longer. And always select jeans in a darker shade.
· Slimmer body types look great in jeans with a slight flare at the leg opening. Low-rise and pocket jeans are also good choices.
· Athletic types have narrow hips and athletic legs. Bootcut jeans are flattering as well as low-rise jeans.
· Some of the newest hottest trends in the stores today are True Religion and 7 for all Mankind.
· Today’s jeans are not for just wearing around the house. Designer jeans are versatile and trendy and easily transition from daytime to evening.

by Axel Vaqueros A wonderful invention in the clothing market that changed the whole concept of how we dress was the humble denim jean. The concept has changed a lot since its inception. It all started with the need of the goldminers for a cloth that would not tear easily when they were panning for gold. Denim was the material used for jeans because it met with their needs perfectly. The credit of starting the wholesale selling of jeans goes to Leob Strauss. Later on he changed his name to Levi. However, the concept of jeans gained popularity because of the movies of 1930s featuring cowboys wearing denim Jeans.
Levi Strauss started to suffer competition from rival companies who wanted a piece of the jeans market in the 1940’s. When these companies realized the jeans market was going to be a very successful one, they moved in with their own products. James Dean gave jeans a new concept by wearing them in movies about teenage rebels in the 1950’s. Because of this association with rebellion, some schools in the United States would not allow students to wear jeans to school. They felt by doing so they were promoting rebellion. This of course ensured the sale of many more pairs of jeans as that is exactly what teenagers wanted!
The world of psychedelic jeans and painted or embroidered jeans evolved during the 60’s and 70’s. The fashion of this period changed the jean styles tremendously by adding a colorful new look. Sales, along with prices, started to soar in the 1980’s when fashion designers began marketing their own style of jeans bearing their own brand label. The jeans that in past years that had been famous for their ruggedness were now synonymous with designer names and high fashion.
The 1990s saw a drop in the popularity level of jeans as the youngsters found carpenter pants and khakis much more fashionable. They opted for something different from what their parents had been wearing. The companies making carpenter pants and khakis flourished in this period. But the makers of jeans did not sit idle; they came up with innovations that looked characteristically different. This appealed to the younger generation and they did go in for some new styles of jeans.
And now in the middle of the 1st decade of the 21st century, jeans are truly back in fashion. As we all know, in the world we live in today, there are millions of different markets selling all types and styles of jeans in a variety of price ranges. Whether you are looking for the designer jeans as a fashion statement or just a pair of jeans that are comfortable and strong enough to work in, there is someone out there making jeans just for you. by Brian Johanssen Finding custom jeans can be very difficult and expensive. Designers like Diesel and Seven offer hand made jeans that make each pair somewhat unique. To get the best custom look from these designers, the faded and worn jeans offer more hand made customization that can almost double the price. Getting just a couple of pairs can run you around $400. For most of us that could be rent or a nice car payment. There are ways that you can get around spending so much and get jeans so custom that nobody will have the same ones.
There are two ways to get the best custom jeans. You can customize jeans that you already have to update your look or you can shop for new jeans at a discounted price. The key finding new jeans is to look for jeans that you like, but they do not have the fading or tears that are trendy right now. Designer jeans like this are always the cheapest of their denim line. To find great sales you can ask sales people in finer clothing establishments about upcoming sales because they are used to trying to get a personal relationship with their customers. If they do not know about any upcoming sales, ask if they have a customer list that will call you when there is a sale. Most good sales people will do this.
When you have selected a pair of jeans that you want to customize, old or new, you will need to get one tool. The best tool for customizing is called a Dremel. It is a small high speed drill that comes with various attachments for all kinds of jobs. You can also use a drill if you already have one, but the shape of conventional drill is not optimal for this job. For a drill, you will need to buy a horizontal sanding bit.
With your Dremel or drill you are going to use the attachment that has a thimble shaped end wrapped with sandpaper. Set the speed to about 2000 rpms and start wearing down the edge of the leg opening. This is a good place to start because all faded jeans are worn here. Get a feel for how is wears through the fabric. Then you can move to the front and rear pockets. After that, use your imagination to wear them wherever you like. Good places to include some wear are the knees and thigh. Remember that you want them to look different. Come up with a new idea that no one has seen before. You can duplicate a pair you have seen if you like as well. The Dremel tool is a good investment for this job because you can use it on future pairs of jeans as well as hats, belts and canvas sneakers. by Brian Johansson When you buy a pair of jeans there is inevitably something that doesn't work out about them. For me it is often the ankle and the heel. Jeans tend to fit me fairly well throughout but in those two areas I still have a hard time finding a pair that fit perfectly. This often means that I will be forced to customize these jeans to work for me. I have three major pairs of shoes that I wear with jeans my converse chucks, black dress loafers and flip flops. Often times if I go with jean that already has a boot cut fit they work for the loafers but I end up dragging my heel under the other shoes. Sometimes this can give you a nice distressed look to the heel of your jean, but on a rainy day it just means frozen feet and disgusting muddy heels on your jeans.
My simple answer is to go with a boot fit jean that doesn't drag under my heel to much. Then cut the cuffs of the jeans vertically along the inside and outside seam to open the boot cut up further. This cut will look odd at first but after a few washings it will look nice and distressed and ad some personality to your jeans. The other answer is to cut the heel of your jeans out. Be careful when you do this and always cut on the side of caution. Once you cut the fabric away it cannot be put back. This cut will also look strange at first but after washing the jeans it will start to develop a nice distressed look. I always think it is better to cut your jeans specifically to what you needs are. Take the time to decide how to alter your jeans to make the work better for you next time you are looking to buy a pair.
